Creating a Task
To create a task from a workfile
- Select View > Workfiles from the menu bar. The workfiles Search screen opens.
- Open the workfile, and then select New > Task from the toolbar. The New Task screen opens.
- Enter your information in the screen.
- Select Save or Save and Close from the toolbar. The information you entered is saved.
Note: Alternately, select New > Task from the workfile mini-toolbar.
To create a task from the My Work Dashboard
- Select Dashboards > My Work from the Dashboards menu. The My Work Dashboard screen opens.
- Click on the New Task link from the Quick Links pane. The New Task screen opens.
- Enter your information in the screen.
- Click Save or Save and Close from the toolbar. The information you entered is saved.
